Those of us already resident here in the village and wider parish, count ourselves fortunate to live in such a pleasant rural community, and hope that you will soon feel likewise once you have settled in. We hope that you will find this guide both useful and informative when accessing any information you may require.
Within the Village we have a well maintained and supported Parish Church (St Editha’s), together with excellent Primary School, Village Institute, and Public House (The Royal Oak). Glebelands Sports Association provides both cricket and tennis facilities.
We constantly strive to maintain a feeling of ‘community spirit’ as evidenced in the past by support for events such as Village Festivals, Jubilee Celebrations etc when villagers and visitors alike, flocked into Church Eaton for the fun and fellowship that these events provided.
The Parish Council can help the community in a number of ways. We have created a page of the answers to frequently asked questions.
The Parish Council meets on the first Tuesday of each month.
The annual Parish meeting takes place in April of each year.
Any public or extra Parish Council meetings are usually advertised well in advance.
The current agenda and minutes of previous meeting can be found on the Church Eaton web site and the village notice board.
